Our Lady Star of the Sea and St Drostan’s Fraserburgh are holding a very special day of Divine Mercy devotions on 12 April (Low Sunday) with the blessing of a new image of the Merciful Jesus from the Shrine in Łagiewniki, Kraków. At 15:00, there will be an Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a recitation of the chaplet, a sermon on the Mercy of God, and confessions.
The Thomistic Institute Chapter at the University of Aberdeen is hosting a lecture by Professor Lewis Ayres of Durham University entitled ‘St John Henry Newman and the Failure of the University.’
This will take place on Monday, 13th April at 18:30 in the New Kings NK1. This lecture is free and open to the public and will be followed by a reception.

Heaven, Earth and Jesus: The Mysteries of Christian Eschatology, a series of four Pentecost lectures given by Fr Simon Francis Gaine OP, Professor of Theological Anthropology, Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas, Rome. These lectures will take place between 26th and 28th May 2026 at Pluscarden Abbey, near Elgin.
