Celebrating the Jubilee Year and the 10th Anniversary of Laudato Si’

In this Jubilee Year as we strive to be Pilgrims of Hope we are ‘called to discover hope in the signs of the times that the Lord gives us’ and in his Letter for the Jubilee Year Pope Francis identified this hope as being made manifest in the:

Growing numbers of men and women, including many young people and children, [who] have come to realise that Care for Creation is an essential expression of our faith in God and our obedience to his will.

As we also celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Pope Francis’ universally acclaimed encyclical Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home we encourage all parishes to look to ways of giving hope to our Common Home and to all who inhabit it.

We invite you to join a zoom meeting at 19:00 on Thursday 3rd April that will share some plans for 2025 but above all listen to how individuals and parishes can be supported in this essential work.

The meeting is coordinated by the Care of Creation Office of the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland and the Laudato Si Movement.
